Form 5 - My Mummy
My Mummy
You are a mouth watering dark chocolate
melting in the dazzling sun
You are a humungous hug
floating magnificently towards my soul
You are a silk wedding dress
hanging on an elegant scented pink hanger
But most of all you are always there for me
when I helplessly cry.
By Grace Pattinson
My Mummy
You are a lovely warm hug gliding towards me.
You are a soft blackbird singing peacefully awakening me
from my cosy bed.
You are a healing hand that will always help me when I am poorly.
You are a soft note of music helping me sleep.
A sensation of chocolate dribbling down my chin.
You're a silky cushion that I can sit on.
A warm blanket wrapping round me when it is cold outside.
You are a full moon in the black velvet carpet
The sun lighting up the world
But , most of all you are my mummy
And that will never change.

Form 3 - Swapping Senses!
I would like to SMELL...
I would like to smell a golden dog fresh from the stream
I would like to smell a chubby black cat who's been lying in the sun
I would like to smell a slug crawling out of a cowpat
And those are the things I dream of smelling
By Sarah Jackman
I would like to SMELL...
I would like to smell a soft silky dress in my mum's cupboard
I would like to smell a soft bobble hat on my head
I would like to smell a muddy elf under a toadstool
In my dreams I smell these things
